Service Description

This two-part workshop will overview AMACO’s newest mid-range (cone 5 / 6) glazes & clay! Including Phase, Dipping & Layering, Cosmos, Potters Choice Fluxs, NEW Potters Choice and Kiln Ice. Images, features & benefits, application and firing tips will be shared. Attendees can test and experiment with the Phase, Cosmos, PCFs and new PC glazes on their own wares or test tiles. Participants should bring up to 10 small bisque pieces (no more than 5” tall 4” wide), bisque test tiles, brushes and a notebook. The first class will be demonstrations and work time, second class the following week will be a group critique to go over glazing results. The second class will be around an hour and is optional but will be extremely beneficial! Atlantic Pottery Supply will fire a minimum of one test piece per person for group critique. This workshop is $20 dollars but includes a $20 store credit for glazes.
